Rock Strength

This section describes how GeoAssistant handles rock strength parameters.

Parameter	Description
StrongHardness	Hardness of strong intact rock. Typically measured via PLT or Schmidt hammer.
WeakHardness	Hardness of weak rock or materials. Useful for contrast in strength domains.
WeakLength	Total length of weak segments. Used in IRS-based strength classifications.
UCS	Uniaxial Compressive Strength.
IRS	Intact Rock Strength.
RBS	Rock Block Strength.
